My young Prince you are<br>
Formidable in knowledge<br>
As those who travelled far<br>
Into dragon college<br>

The lore which you invoke<br>
Belongs to ancient Kings<br>
Who at Time's dawn awoke;<br>
Not man but Dragon Kings<br>

For in days countless past<br>
No human flesh roamed Earth<br>
Until we came at last<br>
On Golden Age's Birth<br>

But speak now not of that<br>
But rather of the Bed<br>
Where Heavens duly spat<br>

From this unearthly spring<br>
Earliest dragons sprung<br>
Singing; the Elders sing<br>
Ringing; the Elders rung<br>

In changes o'er the land<br>
For dragons were made wise<br>
With wing and scaled hand<br>
To soar among the skies<br>

And flourish on the ground<br>
In cities made of stone<br>
Mined jewels all around<br>
Having no cause to groan<br>

For it is truly said<br>
That dragons were the Kings<br>
Before man came to head<br>
Before Elves forged the rings<br>
