I couldn’t say goodbye,<br />
Your tears would rend my heart.<br />
Break my resolve,<br />
To travel alone my chosen path<br />
On fated wings, of fallen tears.

I couldn’t say I love you.<br />
I did, you know, in words and<br />
Incomprehensionable thoughts inside.<br />
Your support meant the world to me,<br />
I truly knew you cared.

I knew your love your touch your hopes<br />
For my joy, you never failed me.<br />
I had to ask and answer my own questions<br />
Is this all - Nothing more? Only one that you<br />
Couldn’t decide for me, for my life had finished.

I walk alone this chosen path<br />
I cant explain the whys or wherefores<br />
I didn’t mean to cause you pain,<br />
In my heart of hearts I hold you dear,<br />
As my friend, my confidant

Each snowflake that falls from the heavens<br />
Will be my tears angel born message to you -<br />
Tears of joy, you were in my life!<br />
I couldn’t say goodbye not then, Not Now,

And I could not bear the thought<br />
Of not knowing you in which ever life time<br />
Our spirits should cross again.<br />
