Written and as told by Kalira Stromer
Two dragons soar in moon light as songs of joy spring from their hearts. They climb and roll and turn and dive, as their souls entwine in this dance of courtship, desire, and instinctual need. Their wings ache as they climb high and higher. They strain for breath in the thin cold air high above the clouds among the stars. But they turn toward each other finding warmth and strength as the join their bodies. They fold their wings and fall. The world stands still to them as they sink in the sky like a falling star. These moments of desire and passion and lust, fulfilling their primal urges to reproduce. They embrace each other as they look into one another’s eyes. Their tails entwined as are their souls. They are one being. One mass of scales with 2 minds and 2 hearts. But the time for this flight grows shorter. The ground rises swiftly to meet them, and they give a deep sigh in unison as their flight of love has ended...They break apart and spread their wings catching the air and the fly together into the night and sing of light and life and joy and the young they will bring into this world.
