Here Be Dragons!
The Isle of Wyrms is home to dragons, dragon friends, and admirers. Created by Daryth Kennedy, the Isle of Wyrms is a mystical and wondrous environment that excites the imagination.
The Isle of Wyrms is currently comprised of ten sim: Cathedral, Limbo, Lethe, Lyre, Tir na Lir, Tir Infernis, Tir Niva, Tir na Nog, Hedgetopia and Hatchie Haven.
Cathedral: This land houses an immense cathedral, containing eggs from which the dragon avatars and dragon familiars may be purchased. Details on the purchase of dragons are provided further below in this notecard. Avatars of hedgehogs, for which Daryth has a soft spot, are also available for purchase here.
Limbo: Limbo is somewhat central to the Isle of Wyrms with many points of interest. The area to the west in Limbo is a multi-level shopping mall that is themed and geared toward humans, dragons, and alternative avatars alike. Need something for your dragon... or your dragon friend? This is the best place to shop for those hard to find items!
To the south east in Limbo is the volcano which contains the the Drum circle stage for events with a wonderful water grotto beneath. The Drum Circle is held every other Friday at 7:00pm PDT... a party for everyone. Ever seen a dragon dance? Don't miss your chance... come to the Drum Circle. :-)
Limbo also houses the Isle of Wyrms Stargate and sandbox.
Lethe and Lyre: Lethe and Lyre are residential area where many dragons and dragon friends make their homes. Stop by and say hi... if the residents aren't busy, they'd be happy to talk to you.
The Wyrm Wyrds story telling circle is held in the pavilion in the north of Lethe on every other Friday at 7:00pm PDT alternating with the drum circle.
Tir na Lir, Tir Infernis, Tir Niva, and Tir na Nog: These are the most recent areas added to the Isle of Wyrms. These lands provide a connection to the Elven lands to the east, as well as providing a residential and work area for some of the Isle of Wyrms' Guardians and Elders, the keepers of our lands.
Hedgetopia and Hatchie Haven: The most recent additions to the Isle of Wyrms land masses. Hedgetopia is a developmental sim for Daryth Kennedy and the High Council to work on new and exciting things for the Isle of Wyrms. Hatchie Haven is planned to be a special place designed for the dragon young.
The Dragons
The most famous of the residents of this land are the dragons themselves; artistic creations by Daryth Kennedy. The avatars are available in three sizes: Hatchlings ("baby" dragons, also known as "Hatchies"), Wyrmlings ("young adult" dragons) and Wyrms ("full adult" dragons). Available for purchase in the simulator Cathedral (north of Limbo), the dragon avatars are available for many species including (but not limited to):

There is a dragon to fit every personality! In development are the Draconians (anthro dragons) and the Luck dragon.
The Wyrmlings and Hatchlings are always available, while the adult Wyrms are only available at very special times of the year: the Equinoxes and Solstices (4 times a year). A limited number of eggs are made available during these special release events. Their limited population within the realm maintains the grandeur of the adult Wyrms.
Wyrm Releases
Become the dragon of your dreams! The next scheduled release of all Wyrms ("adults") commences with a pre-registration period of 3 days for members of the Council of Wyrm Hatchlings, Council of Wyrmling, and Isle of Wyrms Citizens groups. The upcoming registration runs from September 20th, 2007 00:00 SLT till September 23rd, 2007 12:00 SLT. This is followed by a one-hour open registration period and the hatching event on the September 23rd, 2007 12:00 SLT. Watch for signs and further instructions around the Isle close to this date. For those who don't want to wait until a hatching, the Wyrmlings and Hatchlings can be purchased at any time! Purchase of any of Daryth's avatars comes with membership in a Council specific to that avatar. The dragon avatars are all copy and mod, allowing each owner the ability to create their own unique dragon identity using the purchased dragon avatar as a starting template. Current prices are L$3500 for a Wyrm, L$2200 for a Wyrmling, and L$650 for a Hatchling.
