The Dragoness, swift elegant and pure. Floating in the skys like a child in a bath. Silently she dives down in the mist of the water and lets her wings glide along its edge. Caring for the all matters of the world has her trouble yet even she finds time to relax. This was the way she cleared her mind and cleared it she did.

After sometime swirling in the banks of the waters near her home, the Dragoness finally crossed into her borders. As she entered the ground itself became alive with excitement, She had been gone for weeks her personal quest. Journeying around the globe on new adventures and checking on her progeny was more often than not: very time consumming. She swooped the land still farmiliar with every terrain detail fresh in her mind. Though Some things were out of place locally. However she knew this to be the work of young ones striving to create their own quest and excitement.

The Dragoness finally came to rest in the mighty hall which she had built. The alter still standing along with the sacred circles thirty meters behind it. The stone was still solid ad the pillars still held. The markings of her progeny neatly laid out in honoring fashion. to her left she was greeted by two figures both sitting on magical stone designed uniquely for them.

"Hello my children" she said warmly. " I am back from yet another long trip. All is well in the world nothing significant to report" At this the two mighty wyrms lowered thier heads and nodded at the news. "I shall rest up now please do not disturb me. I have many things I need to get done So please pass on the message". Said the Dragoness. "We shall do as you command" they answered back.

The Dragoness made her way to her inner chamber. Loaded with gold from years long forgotten she plunged herself into it. The gold pieces along with the silver ore seemed to rejuvinate her. The gold pressing againt her scales and sitting between her talons. The Dragoness finally rested.

The next day a great meeting was called among all the Elders. They told of many findings and tales within the weeks past. Some gave reports of darkness spreading over certain lands while others spoke of tournaments and trophys. Then the greatest elder spoke of news that his lair was attacked many times looking for something specific. Not knowing what it was the elder could only assume just the treasures. He reminded everyone to care for the hoardes and to keep a tight watch. The elders all nodded in agreement and the meeting was ajearned.

Nearly everyone had left the chamber when the Elder telepathically linked to the Dragoness. His words now a part of her mind. Had he tried with the rest of the group present they would have been able to also hear what he had to say. The Dragoness standing over looked intrigued. The Elder finally convinced they were alone began to speak.

"I didnt want to alarm anyone. I know what it is they seek. Remember many years back when I had that confrontation with the shadow dragon Tanese? They are looking for his sword. The sword that carried the spirits of all your childen. They seek it to gain power over us. I do not have the power to break it, otherwise I would have long ago. This is now subject to many legends and thus many attacks on me. I am also feeling uneasy about other things butr since it is beyond our borders I cannnot be accurate. These are my concerns. I must depart I have urgent business elsewhere."

"Be well Dragoness may your wings grow ever longer like your wisdom". Said the Elder.

Now revealing his thoughts on the matter the elder had once again returned to his chamber. The hoarde adored with many precious jewels aligned the outside and in the middle stood a mountain of crowns. These crowns were once held by kings. Now long forgotten they reside here each telling a story of pride, misery, justice and death. The part he felt most sentimental. He raised his hand slowly and the crowns flung apart. Now rising from among the ground was the Sword of Tanese. The blade had not changed ever since that day he had fought Tanese and gained mastory over the vile sword for which he had posessed.

He grabbed the hilt and held it high to the air. the blade still sharp and flowing with the power of the old days. "This was the power they are after but why now?" asked the elder softly. "The universe is filled with many objects of greed and hate why this?" Soon however his judgement however didnt stay at wonder but rather what could be done. He lowered his head and placed the crowns back over the sword. I will not let you fall in wrong hands. He said with upmost confidence.

Later in the weeks the dragons were greeted by many strange visitors. These vistors said be beyond the boders of dragons and man. Though humanoid they were but much more fair and face. Their eyes told of years beyond the exterior in which they were bound. They were a prideful bunch speaking in a different tongue than the dragons were used to marveled in the scenery for which they were not acustomed. They removed their outter clothing and presented themselves to the dragon in charge.

We are an Envoy sent here from his and her majesties of the Elvenfields. We seek wisdom from that which we know nothing about. I admit however that we are not dumb humans nor as vile. We come only because we know not the skys as you do. We are asking for speed in this matter and we find no other being worthy for our cause. Can you help us?

The guardian dragons on duty took the matter to one of the elder who was not away on an arrand. They entered in a room and the door shut. They were there for what seemed many hours. Finally after much discussion the door reoppened. The travelers seem niether pleased nor displeased casually walked toward the exit and departed. The elder walked toward the exit to ensure that all had departed safely. As he watched the sun it began to set. Another glorious day had passed.
