Within a few weeks the alliance had trained hard and was ready to fight. With more knowledge and skills they raced ever forward with plans to assault the main castle in one fell stroke. They couldnt afford many skrimiges because time was not an ally, not in this case anyways. Each had something to fight for and knew that any day could be the last hope for a good outcome.

Unaware to the dragons. In the same as their training Zantonith had amassed a great army of his own to lash out at the worlds last protectors. He gathered from all parts of the universe that which was vile and evil. His caling was to no end. Even though many had come itstill was not enough. He called forth from the pits forces of an uncounted number. The force was comprised mainly of skeletal warriors with evil knights as commanders. He assembled trolls and orcs in small quanities. Even demons were now aiding him. The elementals stood watch as the main gaurdians of the though now the barrier shrunk the elemetals increased.

On the eve before battle everyone was sent to their chambers. with just a little food in their bellies. This was to remove any sluggishness found the next morning. Many were lost in deep thought as to what might happen. Agite leader of the elven force visited the Elder. They spoke for a while and the mood was light. Agite spoke about something hidden. Telling the elder of his true Identity he weeped at the thought of being deceitful. The Elder being wise beyond his years told him he had known all along for his gift of sight was not just the eyes in his head. With htis Agite smiled and said "I will be honored to have you roam in my lands any day. No matter the outcome tomorrow you are a brother to me and my kin from this day forth. With that final gesture both departed for the night was no longer young.

The gates opened and the barrier lifted The alliance headed out in grand fashion. Not a word spoken nor nor a downwar gaze as they passed through the bars. Upon leaving they were sprinkled with flowers and dust as a tribute to their bravery and safe return. Dragons would take flight and flew effortlessly as the elves made their way on horseback. Those not drawn by horse were pulled by magic sleds, to not wear out their feet.

They had all assembled in an open area. One of the Gaurdians raised his hands high in the air "Brother can you help me I am not used to such a force and my portal may not hold by my power alone." With a nod the Elder stood up and the strain look crosed his face. As the Portal swelled open the alliance passed through it. Finally as the last remnants passed through the Guardian could no longer hold his end."I will finish," said another voice. "I have some work here that must be completed. I will be with you shortly, He said sternly. With nods they entered in the portal.

They had arrived just on the outskirts of the elven territories. The land they could see was dark. Many trees and lands were now a barren waste. The ground was littered with bodies of the innocent and pits made for dark rituals performed. The magic had been twisted or stripped away The once holy place was now ravanged. At the sight the elves became sickened with grief and horror. Many vomited at the stench of the now rotting flesh around them. Seeing no alternative they pressed on and assembled the army.

waiting for them was Zantonith he had seen a vision in recent nights of this transgression. His army was all aware of the task at hand and was fully ready to carry out the order. They stood waiting for signs of life or instructions to come. Never yeilding or flinching they simply waited. Zantonith had finally given the sign that indeed the time had come. He motioned for all sorcerers to meet at the castle throne room to begin the enchantments.

The elves moved swiftly . Their feet showed no signs of fatigue or past woes, sweeping past the murky bogs. They came to an open field just outside the tree line. Greeting them was the mass force of Zantonith's foot soldiers. The two clashed with utter hatred. The sounds of sword on shield was incredible. The thundering roar of a battle cry was heard throughout. For the Queen! it cried Death before Dishonor!!

The Hammering blows rang through the ears of many. The sound of sword through helm and spear through breast plate was now common. The sounds of the dying before they littered the ground was a gruesome truth. The Skeletons were effective in mass. Though easily dispatched when thier heads were cleaved from their shoulders. The first wave was seemed to be winning as the skeletons scurried about.

The sound of a trumpet was heard and out came the orcs and other living troops. The men that had darkened hearts too were among them. Fear was not in these eyes nay they had the look of misery and greed. From the ranks they joined the undead troops and fought with all their might against the fleet of elven warriors. With that the dragon kin raced into battle. In fashion they bit and clawed. Striking those that were damned and soon to be damned. The dragons feriously beat down the men cutting the throats and releasing them to their doomed fates.

Now seeing the valley covered in blood Ashnew called all forces to rally and fight off the invaders. The trolls elementals and anything large or small had now come at last into the fray. The elemental fired in mass the energies to which they were alligned. The trolls smashed hard with their clubs knocking over many with a single swing. The might of these creatures kinew no bounds.

The Dragons took to the air made in small sqauds had only the most trusted at thier sides. The Guardians had their wing siblings. The head of the sqaudren was a great dragon. He had been a Gaurdian for a time his wrath swift his mind clear. He was joined by his sibling sister also a Gaurdian and his wing brother whom he loved more than anything and a set of five lesser dragons. They rose high in the air swooping down with claws to the sky came low before turning over and dousing the field in powerful blast. The breath weapons were effective. The valley was now littered with those drenched in dragon breath.

The army of Zantonith did not faulter. They held fast against the onslought. The elementals were firing waves of energy at the dragons. Even with tough hides magic still penetrated. The dragons fell hard to the ground and were trampled on by ground forces. The Trolls smashed in their skulls with the clus and pressed on. The Great Gaurdian made many passes with his sqaudren driving back those that fell within reach. He singled with wing waves to his wing siblings and on a final dive split formation they circled around the elemetals andf fired again their potent weapons. This time they did it to the opposing property. With the power of the elemetals weakening The dragons made another motion of wing waves.

The Second wave of dragons had come carrying riders armed with bow and arrow now moved across the battlefield. Among one of the riders was Agite his dragon was the Elder himself. They rose to through the ranks like lightning in a cloud. They hurried. The elder used his breath destroying the weakened elmentals for he had no property origin. This also prompted the Water Dragons to circle the ground and create a deep barrier of water to which none could escape the battle seemed almost finished.
